Is MLS producing better talent?

    Sorry to hear that. I voluntarily stepped away from the inner circles about 5 or 6 years ago.

    I knew/know there is no quick fix. The process will take decades, but I at least applaud the attempt.
    If you have never been in the quagmire of big time youth soccer, it is really hard to understand how incredibly complex it is.

    My hope has always been an MLS academy system that finally usurps much of what is going on.

    Of course, again, I realize that process will take decades.

    There is no easy fix and one could argue every side of it legitimately.

    Let me just say, it seems that segments that had little respect for MLS in general seem to have it now. That alone is a big step forward in the US.
