I seem to remember some folks in Colorado telling me he had come up through the youth ranks there. Not certain though. Funny thing is, Lisi, McGee and Clark are running circles round LA. Clark is ready now.
Yes, he's American. But he's not good enough for the Nats, unless the Mutts aren't playing the weekend we next play Wales or something.
This is the first time I've seen him play, but he looked to have some really nice skills - and the ability to possess the ball and make the right pass.
Unless he's improved a lot, he's no Convey or Martino. That said, he has potential to be an exciting player because he's quick and has good vision. He didn't get a fair shake in DC while he was here. I'd like to see how his defensive skills and touch are improving. If they have, you may yet see him play for Bruce.
He played a great game today. Best I have seen him play. If he plays like this every game he should get a callup.
as soon as lisi put that ball through to Mcgee and beat three Gal players on another play a few minutes later, my first thought was "how long is it going to be before some guy on Bigsoccer is going to ask to give lisi a chance on the Nats?" c'mon fools -- this was ONE really good showing. i'll think about it after 1 whole season AT LEAST.
haha... guilty as charged! But after the pathetic display by the US midfield the last 2 games, I guess you could say I'm grasping at straws.
