He was cup-tied against Man.Utd, but not in the squad at Sunderland. I think he's an outstanding defender, and also adds to the attack.We're a better team with him out there. If he's another injury absentee, it's a real blow. It's annoying that we only seem to get injury news the day before a game. Not that we can do anything about it, but it helps set the stage for what we might expect!
Last time i heard he was injured yes. And i agree he is a solid defender. He doesn't do anything spectacular but he adds something to the team.
