I just put my team together: Joe Cannon Mastroeni Chad Marshall Diego Gutierrez Shalrie Joseph Ronnie O'Brien Eddie Gaven Guevara Convey Buddle Nhleko I wanted to add Taylor, figuring he'd be relatively cheap, but he's not available yet. Anyone else playing? (Just trying to kill time until the season starts)
I picked Shalrie Joseph because he was a little bit cheaper than Rico Clark, and I was running up against the salary cap. I picked Nhleko because the talk in Dallas is that he is going to start, and with Kreis always getting hurt, Nhleko could soon become the main target. His price tag was under $100k, which is a steal for a starting forward. IF Taylor becomes available and I can get him for around the same price, Nhleko (or maybe Convey or Joseph) would be let go to pick him up.
Ok, this is what I put and little reason why. Going to try out with proven goal scorers with a young midfield and gambling with a cheap defense. Ruiz, Carlos LA (proven goal scorer, might brake out again with Kiriovski) Twellman, Taylor NE (excellent finisher, comming off injury might help) Adu, Freddy DC (might be a good investment if he does score some goals) Vaca, Joselito MET(will excel this year with the Metros I hope) Martino, Kyle CB( I've heard a lot about him, might have a good year) Convey, Bobby DC (has been playing good and might help DC to title ) Nunez, Ramon DAL (i heard the picked him to be part of the midfield, any word from Dallas boards about him?) Gutierrez, Diego KC (Veteran. He might start and stay a regular) Parke, Jeff MET (has been a regular in metro preseason and might become a starter) Goodson, Clarence DAL (don't know, but anyone know a another 75k defender?) Cannon, Joe (best value by far. I think he will be starter this year) I just hope Ruiz and Twellman are at it again this year for top scorers. I just don't see why not. If Adu does become the real deal and has a 10 goal season at least, combined with Ruiz and Twellman, I think this would give lots of points. Hopefully he does succeed for the good of the game. As far as midfield, I wish I could squeeze in Guevara in there.
Taylor is going to be in the database soon. I think they update it on Wednesdays. I put him on my team yesterday (for $170k). Shortly after I added him, he was gone (but he's still being charged against my cap. ) Hopefully by Wednesday he'll be there permanently.
is there way to make friendly games before season starts? and how come they still have players like Occean and LeBlanc available ..

You may want to tweak your team a bit. Ali Curtis was waived by Dallas and is no longer in the league. Alvarez and DiGimarino are unlikely to be regular starters and the rumblings out of Chicago have Henry Ring starting over Countess.
Jacen Thanks For the Info.I thought that Countess would get the nod on experience but I will Keep my eye on him.I guess I find a replacement for Curtis. Can't I get the cap magic like our Metros always seem to get.
