OK, I just lost my cup game, as I knew I was going to, to a Series V team. Now my supporters are irritated. I was just wondering if I could have told my team to "play it cool" if that would have affected the fans and my teams confidence as much? Damn fickle supporters. Also, will I lose any after this 6-0 loss?
It probably would have made your supporters' mood worse, as you would have lost by even more. It would have helped you team spirit, but not your team confidence. Yes. Probably 8-10.
They should mellow out a little bit in the next couple days. Brings up a good point though... is it better to PIC the match and get stomped OR play normal, keep it close and not have the team spirit bump you would have gotten from the PIC?
I would assume you'd lose some especially i the game is at home which I assume it is, supporters hate their team being shut out at home.
I had irritated supporters last week after i lost 5-0 in my cup game but i won 5-0 in the league last weekend so my supporters are now satisfied. I bet your team confience took a hit too
Well has this ever happened to anyone? :::"A newly bought player got a really bad start when he arrived in the club. The team spirit fell when he initially turned out not to get along very well with the other ones. " My initial reaction was to put him up on the market again but I am not sure I want to do that since he is a good trainee. He is 17 years old and a nasty fellow. Lowere my TS to composed.
Yeah, my team confidence is at poor now. I was one of two teams to win my first league game 4-0, so I'm first in my series at the moment. The good thing is that I am playing at home vs. the other team that lost 4-0 in my next league match. Hopefully a big win and some returning supporters are on the horizon.
That's gonna happen every now and then when you get a nasty fellow on your team, I wouldn't worry about it that much.
And look out for it happening when you sell a player and your team fears for its future, or some rot. Its completely random for both although nastier players have a larger chance to lower when bought and nicer players have a larger chance when sold. And it is a one-time hit. Keep him, the damage is already done.
The selling has only happened to me when I have sold off more then one player at a time. That could just be me though
by now, it's probably too late, but whether you lose supporters will depend how many supporters you have. if you have 500 supporters in D5, you can afford to lose 3 games in a row before you start to lose supporters. i have 1250, so i lost two supporters losing my first away match. i believe spokesperson will also effect the number of people leaving and signing up.
