Hello everyone, I have been playing an old version of Championship Manager (00-01) and in the Irish League, there is the Super Cup. I was wonder if someone could tell me what this tournament is (in real life) and how teams qualify for it? My team has never qualified for it, that's really why I'm wondering, and looking over the Irish league websites hasn't helped me find anything. Thanks ahead of time.

Does Ireland have a professional soccer (football) league of its own? I know England has the premiership, and Scotland has the scottish premier league, but does Ireland have anything??

They have a semi-pro league that may have just recently gone professional. The Eircom league I think it's called. They do have a league though.
