    Trialist at Cork City:

For the second half, Ramblers changed their entire midfield, bringing Jacub Buris, Jason Abbott, Ian Mylod and Evan Galvin into the fray, while City brought on their American trialist Kyle McLeod. The home side’s changes worked well with Buris offering more danger on the right and Abbott putting in a powerful performance in the holding role. Sadly for the Rams this didn’t translate into goals and it was the Premier Division side that went further ahead on 65 minutes.

The article calls him "McLeod," but it seems possible that it could be this guy, MacLeod, who played at U. of San Francisco:

Played youth club with Dave Romney.

There is a player named Kyle McLeod but he seems to be a young player from Scotland. I suppose that guy could be a Scottish-American...

Bit more detail from that match:

City have been in fine goalscoring form in pre-season and they added a fourth with twenty minutes to go, as substitute Kyle McLeod showed a great touch to ride a challenge before slipping Karl Sheppard through on goal and the striker dinked the ball over the onrushing keeper to find the net.

    ...

City: Smith, McCarthy, McSweeney, O’Connell (Ogbene 66), Dunleavy (McLeod 45), Healy, Donnellan, Buckley, Beattie, Morrissey, Sheppard.

Also, Cork City's manager remains John Caulfield, himself a subject of posts in this forum.
