Any Swiss fans out there and what do ye think of your chances in Dublin on October 16? Don't know much about the Swiss team and before the debacle in Moscow i would not have been unduly worried, but now..........
I like our chances. In the last 2 games we schooled Austria and Georgia. Switzerland is finally playing like a team again. We've always had the individual talent, but the players never connected well with each other until recently. Also, there are several FC Basel players on the National team that want to put their Champions League experience to the test.
I think the Swiss have put together a pretty good side this year but the Irish are very tough to beat in Dublin. I think a 1-1 draw would be a good result for the Eidgenossen.
