I didn't make this thread out of spite. I was wondering, what the hell happened. Denmark at home, 0-4 ?. Was the ending result an accurate image of the actual match ?
Ireland scored on all their chances while denmark didnt. that said it was a very poor performance from the danish team.
Biggest Danish home defeat in 48 years and so poorly played by Denmark that you can actually only laugh at the result... ireland came to Aarhus to play a good game while the danish players seemed slow, uninspired and/or simply out of shape.
Im not trying to deminish the irish result. Good performance. Solid passing and good understanding between the irish players hopefully, this was wake up call for the danish team (how many do they need?)
Shocking defeat but well, it was just a friendly. Hopefully the Danes bring the same performance for the upcoming match against Sweden (wishful thinking)
Enjoyed the week in Aarhus. We seem to beat Scandinavian sides easily these days albeit in friendlies. KOH
