i think its a pre season from tishreen FC like chelsea and other pre seasons that are played, so they play this pre season and al amana plays too
We badly need some new stadiums, and we need them to be football specific for the sake of atmosphere. I don't like this whole running track business, the fans are well too far away from the field to form any sort of imposing atmosphere. Also can anyone clarify this for me. What is the true capacity of malaab al shaab in Baghdad? I have seen figures between 45,000 and 60,000 thrown around.
Officially it's 45k but during cruical games, poeple used to fill up everything in the stadium so 55-60 K were attending..
Re: West Asian Under 17 do you guys know about the West Asian Under 17 Federation Championship 2009 IRAQ is in it

Al Shaab Stadium will be closed for six months for a complete revamp (turf, tracks, seats, rooms etc.)
There are more stadiums in Baghdad. Al Zawraa Stadium Al Kashafa Stadium Al Sinaa Stadium Al Shorta Stadium Al Talaba Stadium Al Karkh Stadium Al Naft Stadium
Some decent work has been put in on rennovations. Though I still get a bit depressed whenever I see those Olympic running tracks. Would like to see stadiums where the fans are right next to the pitch to form that imposing atmosphere!
Franso Hariri Stadium, Arbil Anyone got pictures of Franso Hariri Stadium in Arbil? I would be really happy if anyone should have an aerial picture of the stadium, with the new yellow seats
