    Hello all,

What are your expectations about the game against Iraq. Personally I think it will be difficult for China to win over Iraq. But I'm not saying it's not Possible since Iraq is missing couple of there Asian Cup Stars who will also miss the game against China.

This Group will be hard for all the teams, The Matches are going to be Tight and we are about to see some Treu and Classic Football. The road to the second round will ve very difficult.

At the moment, The Iraqi national team players reunited under their new coach Olsen in Dubai, U.A.E.

I made a Poll.. Please vote and share your opinions with uss.

    Thank you.

The road to the second round? We are already in the third round. Iraq is missing its Asian Cup stars? China is also missing its Asian Cup stars like striker Han Peng, winger Mao Jianqing who outplayed Madavikia in the 2-2 draw with Iran, Shao Jiayi who always scores goals in important tournaments etc. When you want to challenge your team with others, don't make such excuse beforehand. It shows you fear your team loses.

I don't think it really matters if China is missing there Asian Cup Stars,
Because China always produce good players and have great replacement's.

Iraq's replacement's and substitutes sucks.. We have one of our best Defender [Ali Rahema] missing in the China game. The replacement is probably a defender who is 18 years old with no experience and 0 Caps for the NT [Slam Shakir)

Hmm. Akram vs Zheng Zhi will be interesting.

No, China needs Han Peng badly. He is in the squad but cannot play against Iraq due to the long lasting injury. See the 2 strikers Petrovic used to replace him. Li Jinyu could not score successively in 5 friendly games while Qu Bo scored only once in 5 games. Energie Cottbus' Shao Jiayi often scores when China meets strong teams. In the 2007 Asian Cup, he was paired with Han Peng at the 4-4-1-1 formation and scored a beautiful free kick against Iran. China is short of strikers so the absence of Han Peng and Shao Jiayi gives much advantage to Iraq.

Further, the key defender Li Weifeng has his nose bone broken when he was smashed by a Lebanon player during the recent friendly match. He cannot be replaced so he has to play on Feb 6 using a mask. But I doubt he can play at his best since psychologically he must fear having his nose broken again. So the damage China suffered is much heavier than those of Iraq.

By the way, your statement in your previous post "Personally I think it will be difficult for China to win over Iraq. But I'm not saying it's not Possible since Iraq is missing couple of there Asian Cup Stars who will also miss the game against China" sounds quite arrogant, since it means if Iraq is not missing Ali Rahema, China has no chance at all to win. If you check the recent head-to-head records of China vs Iraq, you will find out Iraq doesn't have the edge at all on China.

2004-07-30: 2004 Asian Cup Quarter Final: China - Iraq: 3-0
    2006-03-01: 2007 Asian Cup Qualifiers: China - Iraq: 1-2
    2006-11-15: 2007 Asian Cup Qualifiers: China - Iraq: 1-1
    2006-11-29: 2006 Doha Asian Games: China - Iraq: 1-0

That idiot "Winer" Qu Bo is still playing soccer? I can't think of one single reason why this track and fielder should be on the NT roster, expect probably Milu has whispered some good words to the current NT coach on the behalf of his protege. And we all know the only thing Milu has brought to China was the complete departure from technical soccer in favor of his "happy soccer", which of course is no doubt the highest form of soccer in his mind, that is, if you had Pele or Maradona on your team or at the least Gu Guangming. But for the majority of the Chinese soccer players, "happy soccer" is suicidal. Milu's popular "happy soccer" philosophy has done a lot of harm to Chinese soccer since 2002. As for his "success", he was bailed out by the lucky WCQ draw and the Hao/Fan combo. It'd be an absolute nightmare if he's still wielding influence on the NT which would also mean the current NT coach is also not too bright.

Not very optimistic about China's chances in this game. Qu Bo is an idiot, on top of simply not a good soccer player. Li is OK but he is an opportunist that feeds off others' creativity. The only hope is Zheng Zhi or Sun Jihai somehow finds a way to create something from the midfield.

BTW, Kenzhi, I like your brand of trash-talking. Very methodical. You have my support. :D

And, eh, fight_1, Iraq sucks. :D

If Iraq play like they did in Asian Cup, they should win against China. It could even be a lopsided win.

There's Iraqi supporters saying Iraq will win and China supporters saying china will win. This discussion's going places for sure.

Seeing Iraq in the Asian Cup, I think its a good bet they'll get the upper hand in this game, but then again they haven't been excellent against China in the qualifiers anyways... even if China was still managed by that pig..

    Iraqi69... grow a brain.

Yet you can talk about other people and their countries?

Iraqifootball has the sense to not make a fool of his people and his country with obscene rants. You have no right to say anything about him.

China will lose, without a doubt. There's a small chance of a draw if anything.

Poor Sun Jihai, playing out of position again. Poor China NT, another round of terrible coaching.

The only hope now, if we could call it that, is the miracle maker ZZ.

Looks like we're playing a lone striker, not 5-3-2. Bad quality stream so I can't see who it is yet...

A lot of flopping on both sides though. Iraqi striker did get injured first minute however, unlucky.

Zheng Zhi's gotten a yellow already for a bad tackle.

Nashat Akram fouled Zheng Zhi got yellow. Qu Bo almost scored if not saved by superb Noor Sabri. Younnes Mahmoud injured in 1st minute.

I am watching it at Ben Sport 2 (a Philippine paid TV). A very tense game. Unexpecredly China is also playing attacking. Ben Sport 1 is broadcasting Iran - Syria. Still 0-0 too.
