So far so good. But I found that my tears stained my Klan robe, and I'm kind of upset (and surprised) about that.
nothing is happening tonight, tomorrow around 12:30pm EST. bush will speak to the nation tomorrow night once it has all begun.
ummm, yea...you think GW cares? it is all about weather and the next 3 days are suppose to be clear of storms.
Who cares if it's a Friday or not. If the Muslims can fight each other on a Friday or suicide bombers can blow themselves up on a Friday then what's wrong with us kicking their ass on a Friday? What are you afraid of offending them? I don't think it'll make a difference to the person being bombed whether it's a Friday or a Monday. It'll suck just the same.
Google "Yom Kippur 1973." Google "Afghanistan Ramadan 2001." Google "1941 Christmas shopping season".
Me? personally? I'd call it "Operation Crusades 2003", fvck 'em if they can't take a joke. I was just wondering if it would further inflame the "Arab Street" and make life more difficult for the "friendly" regimes that are trying to keep a lid on it.
I was watching the news and the reporter from Iraq was saying how "the weekend was here" but the people were not going out as normal. Two things hit me as odd. One: There is a war coming, so going to the movies would be out of the question, right? Two: The weekend starts on a Wednesday? Well, I again was hit by the fact that the world does not rotate around the USA. Plus, there are those "time zone" things! But it does show how a hard working people we are in the USA. Dante, could you edit that pic and just provide the link to it?
I highly doubt they'd be offended and it they were, like you said fark 'em. They've fought plenty of wars during their holy days and they'd be hypocites if they bitched about it now.
We fought the Taliban and al-Qaeda during Ramadan 2001 in Afghanistan. That's why I suggested you Google it.
9:02 PM EST and all is well. Besides the fact that the Buckeyes are going down like Monica in the NIT.
just a disappointing b-ball season...january 3rd will keep me going for a few years though! iraqi soldiers carrying the white flag...
