A question for the anti war crowd out there. Doesn't a story like this at least give you some concern? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,79450,00.html Now this could be a planted story to try to sway public opinion back Bush's way. Or it could be another case of, as I've pointed out before, our intelligence saying they're worried based on information they have obtained. I still believe in the "where there's smoke there's fire" theory. And to me, you'll miss all the signs if your head is stuck in the sand.
Dubious? yes. Possible? yes. Scary? yes. Convinced that this will do nothing to sway either side on the issue? positive.
Wow does this article demonstrate the cartoon reasoning of the dittoheads at FoxNews. I especially love the last paragraph at the bottom. You can just picture the editor sending back the original draft: "Where's the vague, unwarranted, hazy link between Bin Laden and Saddam?" As for your question, this story is a total joke and gives me not a moment's hesitation or concern. You actually had it quite right: "Now this could be a planted story to try to sway public opinion back Bush's way."
