Iran unveils world’s most powerful natural-gas-based engine

TEHRAN, Feb. 7 (MNA) - The world’s most powerful natural-gas-based car engine was unveiled on Saturday by the Iranian carmaker Iran Khodro under the intellectual property of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to IRINN, the engine is to be installed on Iran Khodro’s newest product Samand Soren ELX. Iran Khodro CEO Manouchehr Manteqi said that all the design and development stages of the engine have been conducted in the company’s research center.

The engine is turbocharge type, with 150hp of power and has passed EuroIV standard requirements, he said. “Its nominal power will not decline even at the height of 2,000 meters above sea level,” Manteqi noted.

Samand Soren ELX is an elegant and highly safe sedan which is outfitted with air bags for front-seat passengers, security belts, a telescopic steering wheel, and other safety equipment.

now I realize we have to give a comment when we post a link so here it goes:
This is the day of salvation. Quit sinning and serving your self, and start serving the living God. Repent from your sins and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ who shed His precious Blood at your place on the cross. God will not leave the wicked unpunished. For whose name will not be found in the Book of Life; will be thrown in the Lake of Fire. God will not allow wicked man to inherit His kingdom! REPENT & BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST or YOU WILL GO TO HELL

Wow. A car with an LPG engine. And - gasp - "air bags for front-seat passengers, security belts, a telescopic steering wheel".

How very ... 1988. Which, appropriately enough, is when the First World originally experienced the Peugeot 405 on which this heap of shit is based.

    Theory, all's well
Is penis envy a prerequisite for Mods who post in this forum. (Rhetorical question)

It's a methane engine, not LPG, you Luddite. And I'll bet that they have a nice big place to put the massive Iranian burgers from the drive-thru.

Probably there's an optional secret hatch for dynamite and plutonium, too.

So you're saying the topic starter has an enviable penis?

Take your word for it, old bean.

Or are you simply saying, that anyone who finds themselves underwhelmed by this latest piece of news from Iran's ceaseless struggle to enter the 20th Century, must labour under the fear that the topic starter's penis is larger than theirs?

What if DoyleG is a woman, by the way? My screen name leaves you on fairly safe ground that I am not, but you never know with him/her. Would this imply that not only does the Moderator in question have penis envy, but that this penis envy is some form of complex trans-gender urge?

Or were you just upset that no one appears to find this news that impressive and wanted, in your own inadequate little way, to strike back?

In which case ... awwww. Bless.

Not only does this thread topic stretch the boundries of what might be considered "news", the "comment" is pretty much spam by anyone's definition, since we do not allow proselytizing on this site.
