So according to the Times the US is thinking of lifting the legal restrictions on Russian Oil. This really is the rubric cube approach to war. Focus on fixing one problem while creating a bunch more on the other side.

Let me get this straight ...

• This morning we learned that Russia is providing intelligence to Iran to target US strategic and military assets.
• This afternoon the US is talking about lifting restrictions on Russian oil.

Seriously?

Seriously!

I never thought I'd miss the braindead strategery of the George W. Bush administration.

But let me tell you guys ... I'm there.

 

Yup.

It's amazing how the stupidest of all timelines keeps getting stupider.

 

I went there too. But then, it isn’t a good look for anyone.

 

And we can be assured it will get stupider yet!

USA provided a 30-day waiver allowing India to purchase Russian crude, aimed at easing global oil supply gaps. US treasury is evaluating whether to lift sanctions on more Russian oil if geopolitical conditions such as a resolution to the war in Ukraine evolve.

 

That's not how surrender works, let alone unconditional surrender!

 

Unconditional surrender means that the party surrendering sets no conditions for surrender. That means the entity they are surrendering to sets whatever conditions they desire. So for Iran to unconditionally surrender to the USA they would make zero demands and the USA could set whatever terms they desire.

Despite sensationalist reports of the failures of modern Chinese air defense systems in Iran, multiple experts interviewed by Domino Theory said there is no evidence they were used or even delivered.

After the 12-day war in June 2025 when Israel and the U.S. decimated Iranian air defenses, it was widely reported that Iran had taken delivery of the relatively advanced HQ-9B air defense system from China.

But there are no pictures of the HQ-9B in Iranian service, no satellite images that suggest it has been deployed, and nothing from the U.S. or Israeli governments to say their armed forces have encountered it in combat.

“As far as I’m concerned, there’s zero evidence that Iran operates any Chinese air defense missiles like the Hongqi, the HQ-9b — it’s just not there,” said Xu Tianran (徐天然), a senior analyst focusing on Northeast Asian security and missile systems.


That doesnot bode well for the Iranian defense efforts.

 

Because everyone involved in the joint naval exercise says so. All participating ships had to be unarmed.
