As I mentioned in another thread, he was also his high school valedictorian. Seems he peaked in high school.

Not yet? I ran had air defenses and a naval port on Kharg. The images I’ve seen have not shown any hits to the oil infrastructure. That being said, Trump just said that if Iran didn’t start letting tankers through they would destroy Iran’s oil infrastructure. Given how much of Iran’s oil goes through Kharg, I would expect it to be flattened.

He never takes responsibility for any of his many failures. It is truly amazing someone so incompetent can keep falling upward.

I'm still a bit surprised some James Bond type from a friendly country didn't take care of the problem in the first term or in the interregnum.

I was going to say "oh shit you misspelled that", but then I got it.

    Well played

  6. Well, in that case start hoarding tinned vegetables, rice/pasta/vegetable oil etc.
Spain might block selling agricultural stuff to the USA, because friendly nations are in need of those.

His "art of the deal" seems to be nothing but threaten and bully others until they give you what you want.

The Israelis have different interests in this than the US does, especially if the boots on the ground are all American.

  14. Iran threatens more attacks after an American bombing of the island of Kharg. A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Defense has stated that Iran will now "work with more sophisticated weapons, especially ballistic missiles and various missiles that are more destructive, more accurate and more controllable."

    Is he bluffing?

Wow...this is both pathetic and sad. Almost feel sorry for the desperation.

On Hormuz, the US are checkmate. They went in with all the leverage into negotiations before pulling another backstabbing. Next time, Iran has most of the leverage to open the strait. The US won't like some of their terms.

As for the GCC, they won't like being forced to pay for the Persian "Marshall Plan"

  19. Yeah, but the Dutch military top brass I quoted a few days ago said those missiles/BM's most likely are intact, but inaccessible because the entrances of the hiding places have been bombed.
If someone with tunnel building knowledge can enlighten us what a 2000 xx weighing bomb does with a tunnel entrance in a mountain side...
I don't think they can those things out fast and I think the Israeli know that when they are frantically digging rocks out of a bombed entrance, there must be someting worthwhile like a BM or so in it. I dunno how they would be able to sneak such a big thing out of it unnoticed.

Looks like they want to completely erase US presence in the region. All those US firms were told to evacuate

Another clue about how well the war is going. Iran should just "surrender" right now

Don't forget what Hegseth said about CNN

Trump and Hegseth: we need to take over Greenland because China and Russia are making inroads into those areas which are vital future shipping trade routes, and these Europeans are unable to take care of business by themselves.

Also Trump and Hegseth: China Russia Europe HALP US PLEASE we need your military ships to get over here and look after security in the Hormuz strait.

Another reason why the whole thing makes me sad...you just know the US will overcompensate and decimate Cuba to make up for this

Even if he is, they'll Weekend at Bernie's him on top of a tank for this:

Israel is planning to significantly expand its ground operation in Lebanon, aiming to seize the entire area south of the Litani River and dismantle Hezbollah's military infrastructure, Israeli and U.S. officials say.

Why it matters: This could be the largest Israeli ground invasion of its northern neighbor since 2006, dragging Lebanon to the epicenter of the escalating war with Iran.

    • "We are going to do what we did in Gaza," a senior Israeli official said, referring to the flattening of buildings Israel says Hezbollah uses to store weapons and launch attacks.
