I'm surprised they haven't blamed Iran for moving a school into a building that was formerly part of an IRGC compound. Granted, that was almost 15 years ago, but who could possibly expect the US to know that changed??

 

When I went to my law partner's daughter's Bat Mitzvah, I noticed they have off-duty DC cops working the front door. They picked an event space for her Bat Mitzvah party in part because it offered private security. That is stage 3. The first stage is to blame Iran, stage 2 is to deny responsibility for as long as possible. There’s a process for denying war crimes, you can’t skip the stages.

You can count the number of Minesweepers in the US Navy on one hand and have a finger left over. They're also in Japan -- unless they actually thought about this ahead of time and moved them to the Gulf. Which I doubt.
