Come share your knowledge and desire about possible group we can get next summer in Russia. All members old and new, even those who don't agree with me, are welcome to participate. WC is near and all of us have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Let us put the old disagreements aside and start new but keep it civil please.

Now, let us see what do you think about other teams and our chances to advance from group stage.

I'd give up an eye for Iran to pull off a Greece and win the tournament.

You would better keep an eye out instead of giving up on us!;) Even if we pull a Greece, we can not go beyond quarter final. WC is another beast compared to Euro. I hope we contribute something more than a simple bunker style and be a little entertaining. This time we have the speed and technique necessary to be dangerous on counters in more than 1 or 2 occasions. Thank you for your wishes anyway. May Belgium have a good run this time too. They have a great team specially with Lukaku and Hazard.

We got a tough draw and the chance of advancing from this group is weak. We have to eliminate Spain or Portugal to advance to next round and that is a huge task even with CQ. I wanted to avoid Spain and Sweden but we got one of them eventually.

I didn't know it was a copy of Cheb Khaled song, but frankly, he is the only Arab singer I found OK.

Just got my tickets confirmation from FIFA for this summer. Applied for 5 games, but was only successful for 2 - one is Spain vs Iran in Kazan. Anyway, should be pretty cool to see Iran in Kazan!

    And Spain of course.... :p

Ok boys we will play our first game (Morocco vs Iran) tomorrow. IMO we must go for win. As you all know football is not just attacking or defending. Sometimes you attack and sometimes you have to defend. Which one will we do more? Well It depends on the team, opponent, and many other factors. We have to attack with courage tomorrow whenever we can. Whenever It is time to defend, we have to defend well. However we must enter to the field with the mindset of winning the game regardless of any style we play.

The closer we get to the game, my excitement and anxiety increases. I promised a really good dinner to my coworker if we win tomorrow. I cannot stop thinking about our tomorrow game at any moment.

    Most probable line up:

    ---------- -------------Beiranvand ---------------------

    --Rezaeian -- Pouraliganji -- Cheshmi -- Mohammadi --

    -------- Shojaei (C) ---- Ebrahimi --- Hajsafi ----------------

    ------ Jahanbakhsh --- Azmoun -- Taremi ------------------

    Most Probable subs:

    Azmoun out Ghoochannejhad (Gucci) in

Shojaei (C) out Dejagah (C) in

Taremi out Ghoddos or Amiri in

Best of luck to our team Iran national team and I hope we all Team Melli fans will be happy tomorrow.

Highlights from the match last night - you may not have won, but played very well and can leave with your heads held high. Also, you definitely won in the fan support area:

    Diego Costa's Goal:

This one's slightly more interesting... the goal that never was - but still the place went crazy:

It was a roller coaster tournament for us Iranian fans. We just missed on one point or one last minute goal.

The bitter taste of coming home soon got worse by two strikers ending their national team career.

Reza Gouchannezhad and Sardar Azmoun said their farewell to Iranian national team and ended their years of service to national team.
