i say they can't have him. wouldn't want him "learning the wrong kind of football" http://www.sublimefootball.com/article.php?artid=1816
If Bentley were sent out to get more experience somewhere, I can think of worse places to send him than Ipswich, and not because my brother's favorite team is the Tractor Boys. Joe Royle is a top notch coach. But with limited striker depth, at least until Kanu is back, I don't see Bentley going anywhere at least in the short term.
i posted the "wrong kind of football" comment because wasn't that wenger's excuse for not loaning him out. i'm sure he wants him to spend more time learning from dennis as it seems that he is only going to be around for one more season at most. i wasn't saying ipswich was bad by any means, but they want him permanently as well, so to that i say no
Wot's going on? Seems to me that everyone wants our players. 1. Barcelona got Gio Van Bronkhost (was it a season loan?). 2. Leeds got midfielder Pennant on loan. 3. Charlton got midfielder Jerome Thomas 4. Defender Juan (who was on loan to MilWall) has left for Fluminense 5. Ipswich wants David Bentley. 6. Chelsea, Real Madrid, etc. want Henry
Whats your point? Would you rather no-one wants our players then? None of those players you've mentioned bar Henry would break my heart if they'd left. And frankly there's no chance of that one materialising.
