I try really hard but I still can't stop loathing Inzaghi. For me everything about him is wrong. I can't recall a player who goes over more easily, or is offside more often (I remember a commentator saying that Inzaghi was "born offside").

Always claiming for fouls, always on the look-out for an unfair advantage. And to make things worse he gets two goals v Liverpool tonight - one off his arse and the other off Reina's stomach. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Was that what Heinze and Evra were staring at, when they crashed heads two weeks ago?

The great professional, he's one player that deserves it. He's never outspoken, never critises anyone, he does his job and thats it. If the coach starts him on the bench he accepts it, and never says anything bad. Always talking about the team, and that he's ready to do a job.
He's one of my favourite players in the world, and how typical was his second goal, fantastic for him.

    SUPPER PIPPO

SuperPippo, what can I say. The guy is amazing, he just knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. One of my favorite players of all time.

As much as I hate him for all of his diving and "acting", I can't deny what you say is true. He is the definitive striker in the box, on the offside line and on loose balls.. Never saw anyone like him.

Pippo is an incredible striker and those who cannot recognize that don't know a thing about football. The guy is as prolific as they come and he positions himself better than any striker I've ever seen. People may not like the way he plays, but there's no doubting he goes down as an all-time great.

And if you don't believe me, ask him to show you his World Cup and Champions League winners medal.

Inzaghi is the man who knows how to score goals without knowing how to play football.

He has such an awkward style and disposition. I love it.

Inzaghi is your typical poucher specialist, he is always in the right place at the right time. I am not an Inzaghi fan but I do give him credit as he continues to score at any level and for any club, usually in the biggest of games. Nobody said he is the best, but definitely he is a guy that will win you the big game when least expected. He has done it over and over, time and time again!
