I'm about 80% certain I'll be heading up to Denver to see my boys get a rare 3 points on the road tonight. Two questions though, how long does it take that time of day to get there from the north end of Colorado Springs? ...and how do I get there? Thanks...hope it's a good match.
Traffic blows all the way from the Springs to Denver pretty much any time around rush hour, you'd better plan accordingly. Just go north on I-25 til you get to Colfax, go west, turn right away when you see the stadium parking signs. Easy as that.

Thanks guys...think I can find it (never been anywhere in Denver except the airport) Will leaving (Monument area) at 6 be enough time...or should I leave sooner?
Probably a little sooner. Traffic through the Denver Tech center (at the very south end of Denver) is truly craptastic, especially since for th elast few years they've been doing a massive freeway project. Plus, if you get there early, you can cash in on the happy hour brat prices.
Six would probably work except sometimes the ticket windows can have a 15 minute or so wait. If it was me, I'd want to spend a few minutes wandering around Invesco. There's great views of the city and the mountains. There's cheap parking over on Federal Blvd. That's the big road just West of the stadium. Added edit--Parking is $3 in the lot next to KFC.
PZ ... from 5PM - gametime on the "southdeck" (just ask) ... there is a Rapids happy hour ... where brews are $2 Brats $2 ... plus some other cheap stuff ... like $4 footlongs and $4 BBQw/chips. They had foozball tables set up too. So perhaps you could leave at 4:00 on the dot
might be tough...but I'm planning to sneak out of the office as early as possibl...just Little PZ's grandparents to agree to watch him tonight so I've got to drop him off with them...so my goal is still to get there in time to see kickoff....or at least Landon's first goal. maybe traffic will cooporate and we'll get there early enough. thanks for the info though.
Thanks again for your help guys. Didn't make it out of the Springs 'til 6 but traffic wasn't a problem. The slight backup in the middle of all the road construction wasn't a big deal (normal driving conditions in LA) Found the stadium no problem and was in the beer line by 7:15. Too bad the ref called such a poor match but I've got to admit your boys did what they had to and deserved the 3 points last night. See you August 6...let's hope for a better ref next time.
