I received the DC United cyberfan email today and caught a little article trying to sell tickets for the home opener. It said "only 19,000 tickets remaining" so are we to assume that so far DC has sold 5,000 season ticket packages since they have announced attendance for the season will be limited to 24,000? Does anyone know the usual number of season ticket sales United has every year?
The following represents DC United's FSE or Full Season (Ticket) Equivalents as purchase through group sales for the last three years: 2000......2001......2002 5,900.....7,046.....7,500 This season's ticket sales to date are up from 2002.
That's a good sign.. Especially since there is still a lot of time to sell more season tickets. I wonder if the rest of the league is seeing an improvement?
