Yes, the Italy v England match is CONFIRMED for RAI Int'l (already listed in their programming guide).

What is your source for no serie a on RAI? Doesn't sound right....

Go to the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Super Coppa Italia thread in the italian section and there is a link to republicca.it about it. Its a shame, i canceled my dish on account of it.

Wow...after nearly 3 decades RAI Int'l will not broadcast Serie A matches? Read the article and its true. Still hoping something happens between now and the start of the season. I'll be researching and keep you posted....

Did Qatar Media's beIN SPORT LLC make an offer to MP & Silva for Serie A in the U.S. and Canada that included Italian-language rights as well?

(Edit: apparently not. RAI Int'l is the one that decided to walk away due to budgetary issues. RAI Int'l is now left to Azzurri home games plus certain neutral site friendlies such as Italy vs England @ Switzerland.)

What does warehousing 300+ Serie A matches behind the beinsport.tv pay wall accomplish besides chasing the small number of viewers that exist in North America to "alternative means"?

While there is no such thing as "bad publicity", the snickering of beIN SPORT LLC by the rest of the media industry can't be good for Sheik Hamad Al-Thani.

DIRECTV is the better service. You will be happier with DIRECTV over the long run. I switched from DISH to DIRECTV in 2002 and have not looked back.

Regardless of whether EPL ends up with FOX Soccer or beIN SPORT 1 in August 2013, DIRECTV has both covered.

    --

DIRECTV will have Univision Deportes Network and Univision Deportes Dos soon enough, i.e. April 2013. In the meantime, the big Mexican matches will remain on Univision and TeleFutura because Univision needs the eyeballs to sell advertising.

Ah I cant pay that kind of money. Dish is cheaper in my opinion than Direct. Direct wouldnt even make a deal with me but Dish did. Direct cant even beat the deal I am getting with cable. I couldnt care if Direct has alot of channels. If they cant give people decent service like letting people opt out of 10 dollar repair service or give it to us free then I dont want thier bussiness. Its Dish or cable for me.

GolTV Canada has Sweden v. Brazil. Sportsnet One has Scotland v. Australia. Sportsnet has a to-be-confirmed match. Probably Germany v. Argentina or France v. Uruguay if I had to guess.

Seems GolTV Canada has Italy v. England on tape delay late night. Not sure why it's on so late.

    Scotland-Australia 1-day-dealy on ESPN Deportes: Thursday, August 16 1PM

Spain-Puerto Rico is listed as Joined in Progress. Perhaps the repeat on Friday, August 17 will be complete even though the listing says JIP.

Italy-England is also on live RAI (Italian language)

I think Sportsnet will show Germany-Argentina especially with Messi.

TeleFutura will have Germany vs Argentina in Spanish, presumably via sublicense from ESPN, Inc. (Univision Deportes programming executive Eric Conrad's last job was at ESPN, Inc.)

Kickoff of the match probably around 7:50-pm ET-7:55 pm ET -
since TV coverage is only scheduled to go to 10:00 pm ET.

ESPN Deportes/ESPN3.com should have most matches marketed by SPORTFIVE (including home games for France and Portugal), IMG Sports Media (home games for Netherlands and Scotland), plus home games for Germany (from the DFB directly) and Spain (via Santa Monica Sports.) Some of these games will be on ESPN2.

GOLTV has home games for Italy (via RAI Trade.)

FOX Soccer has home games for England (from the FA directly, video produced by Input Media to feature virtual advertising technology that covers up ad boards for away team with computer-generated advertising primarily aimed for Asia. )

I think that's for Euro 2016 qualifying. And it might only apply to European broadcasters, I can remember.
