At this point, who would be a better fit for the Earthquakes at left-mid: Edward or Mañuel?       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
But Lewis is the better finisher and crosser of the ball. Ramiro is the better team player and defender...he will track back more and do the dirty work... It all depends on what we're going for, offence or defence....or all-round.... all-round I have to say that I'd rate Lewis and Corrales about the same...but I'd still take Eddie's crosses from the left more than Ramiro's....
You left out the most important factor, attitude. Did you read this quote from Eddie talking about his WC experience? I highlighted the key passages: Lewis: For me, definitely. I'm normally a bit selfish in that if I'm not playing...everybody doesn't want the guy in their position to do well. I just get a bit selfish and bitter. I'm a poor loser. For the first time in my life, I have never been so happy to be a part of a team before. I just tried to do everything I could for the team, to help the team. It was a feeling I know I've never had in my life and this was even before the games began and the success we were starting to have. Just wanting to be a part of a team and wanting to do the best that we can for the group and the nation and not individually. I don't know why. Obviously it was partly because of the magnitude of the event I guess but there was a feeling that I don't have back in England. I never really had it before and I don't know if I'll ever have it again. Eddie Lewis=selfish Ramiro Corrales=team player
But Bruce is doing a relatively nice job with him. I think Arena has mastered the art of physcological manipulation.
