I thought we should have a list in one place of the current status of each team as far as international players are concerned. Below is what I came up from the team forums. Did I miss anything, or has something changed?

ATL – Dominguez, Nonen, Pohlers, Sawa – Hooper green card?

BOS – Gulbrandsen, Meinart, Mellgren, Mugneret-Beghe.

CAR – Boyd, Lehn, Prinz, Riise.

NY – Rapp, Salisbury, Tornqvist. (Ormen on loan)

PHI – Makinen, Pichon, Scasna, Smith.

SD – Fan, Fleeting, Latham, Zhang. (Daniela for Fan or Zhang)

SJ – Alagich, Katia, Pretinha, Sissi.

WAS – Bai Jie, Golebiowski, Minnert. (Gerardo, Jones dual)

From what I've read, Nonen has dual citizenship. And I don't think Hooper has her green card yet.

Carolina also has Mustonen on the roster, so somebody's going to have to go.

And what about LeBlanc in Boston? Is she also dual?

FC Carolina is correct on Nonen...she is a dualie. Hooper won't be counting against the foreign limit. We also got German Connie Pohlers.

They are also getting Aussie Joanne Peters.

While with the Freedom, Makinen was in the process of getting her green card. Doesn't Philly also have another foreigner by the name of Hoffman (I think she is German)?

You need to count Pu Wei too even though she is on loan to China for the entire season.

I remember hearing, when the trade was announced, that Makinen's green card went through and she doesn't count as a furrinner anymore.

Isnt Mustonen going to play for a club team in another country(which would mean she'd get cut from the team)??

That's a rumor floating around. There have been no formal announcements.

It is the other wy around, Pu Wei was on loan FROM China. the Shanghai TV team just took her back for this year. So she should not count against Freedom's international player limit.

Carolina waived Mustonen. The Spirit waived both Akide and Fan. Was Akide a greencard holder? If not, then it seems like the Spirit might still have 5? Is Zhang going to be in China like the other Chinese nats (except Bi Jie)?

I'm pretty sure the Spirit are down to three (Fleeting, Latham and Zhang).

Alot of people are saying they'll sign Daniela, a midfielder from Brazil, to fill that fourth slot.

The Oceania World Cup qualifying is slated for April 4-13...

When are the Aussies going to camp, and what affect will this have on the NY Aussies?

Interesting bit about Anne Makinen's status from today's WUSA press release about the waiver non-draft.
Sounds like it is not a done deal.

Freedom deals for Aussie striker Golebiowski

Gobs going to DC is old news for many around here but this caught my eye...

Ain't the Spirit trying to land a 19 y.o. Brasilian?
