We need to remind ourselves that Chile is still no.12 on Fifa rankings and we did very well against them (not that I think the ranking is legit, but anyway).

moving forward, FIFA ranking might be better off since it adopted the ELO rating system. not sure how people here feel about ELO, but i know some of us prefer it over FIFA's original ranking system.

Well I kinda like the elo system, just because we are 26th and Japan 43th lol

I read that as time goes on, the rankings will merge more with Elo rankings (I think as old results fade away). So Korea should probably expect to rank around in the low 30s instead of high 50s.

    A few months ago, I would've been praying for just a non-humiliation.

Now, I feel a bit miffed we didn't win.

They forgot to include JHS's horrible mistake at the end.
Edit: Seol Korea's HL video has it

I want JHS to be buried and gone forever, but I have to say... I am pretty sure Bento wont drop him considering the fact that he directly said he likes players who can play on multiple positions like JHS...

No way in hell we would've played like this under Stielike, although we did in only three games under Shin Tae-yong which were against Colombia, Serbia, and Germany, but again we went through way too many squad rotations and so called "tricks" that broke the flow/rhythm that we should've been maintaining leading up to the WC. However, for the most part and entirety of our performances under Shin Tae-yong have been absolutely dreadful no different than of the Stielike era.

Two games have been completed, but we're playing a much more modern style of football with better passing, higher tempo, attack and defending, and possession that we look the part of perhaps Bento's Portugal side. Against a very strong South American team like Chile, we ought to give a nod and thumbs up for Bento's management and for the performances of our team.

Ki is the most technical player in this squad, i'm not ready to see him go. Let's do it when we can find a 8,5/10 (technically) CM with solid pro experience

Might be hard to find someone to replace Ki tho.

We went from Cha BK and Huh JM --> ??? ---> Hong MB and Yoo SC ---> Park JS and LYP ---> SHM and KSY

Took 8 years for us to replace Yoo Sang Chul. It might take another 8 years to replace someone of Ki's caliber once he hangs it up.

Well we need to slowly prepare a replacement as he's hinted strongly that he will retire after Asian Cup. But let's enjoy his class as long as we can.

I was hoping for a win before the match began, although I kept seeing us getting a draw, and well what do you know? we end up with a draw. But, imagine if Jang Hyun-soo had buried his header, but then Valdes actually scored due to his stupid backpass, what a major fcukery that would've been.

Yeah, but then it would've meant shit if Valdes actually scored, then netizens will be criticizing him even more for losing the lead lol. Man, I am fed up with Shin Tae-yong and Stielike's bastard son Jang Hyun-soo, 4 years is more than enough of grief already.
