All of the negatives from today's match are from individual mistakes. The system is working quite well. Just two games and we're seeing improvements.

I'm sure it is against him. Anyway I'm glad Chile brought some real competition.

I'm starting to think he's the son, or relative, of some chaebol family.

It's not just from any individuals, but from the same fcuking individuals: Jang Hyun-soo, Jung Woo-young, Kim Jin-hyeon. Jang Hyun-soo mainly considering it's the same shit in almost every single match he starts, he HAS a huge mental issue to which needs to be checked out, because he's really dragging the team down.

If Bento does not chop JHS than he should be sacked.

If he's the son of a chaebol family, they would have been long disappointed in his performance and let him off the knt from embarrassment.

    Positives:
    - KSY/SHM always deliver, classy
    - HHC fits Bento's system as a RW very well, was effective against a strong Chilean side
    - HUJ/JDW both were solid, had great moments in link-up play
    - KYG compensated KJH/JHS
    - LJS is class
    - Set pieces are much better than Stielike/STY era
    - our counter attacks worked well
    - no Bbung Chuk Gu with KSW!

    Negatives:
    - JHS & KJH sucked once again
    - LY was bad defensively
    - NTH disappointed
    - HIB looked too nervous. He could be much better.
    - SHM was too selfish at times
    - too many back passes. JWY lacks dynamics and thinks too slow
    - We couldn't resist Chile's pressing for the majority of the game

    Hey gents, a question please...
We're moving back to Texas after several great years in Seoul. What is the best way to watch knt live in the US? Is there a cable service that covers most if not all knt games?

    Thanks.

Every time I watch our shit J-leaguers play, I seriously question why Japanese teams would pay to keep these players instead of developing their own.

-Lee Yong is not a good defensive fullback. He can cross here and there once in awhile tho.

-Nam Tae Hee, as I mentioned in the Costa Rica match thread, is streaky as they come.

-HIB looked overwhelmed and did not look like he belonged. Hopefully I'm proven wrong tho in the future.

-Kim JH can't pass a ball to save his life. Definitely not our #1 keeper.

HHC had two really impressive runs today down the attacking flank beat the defender both times. just couldn't make something out of it.

    Ki is quality.

Son showed why he is who he is.

JDW would get more brownie points from me if he were a more efficient scorer. definitely is intelligent on the ball, tho. he was involved in that defense tiki-taka to get the ball out of the area.

Sadly your only option in the states is streaming. I do miss being able to watch these matches without worrying about a stream dying on me or buffering haha.

Tbf it was a difficult game for an inexperienced, physically weak 21 y/o player (especially as a substitution, which is always more difficult than starting). He will be better next time.

I've set up google alerts for KNT matches, and come here for appropriate links when the time comes. The community always has links.

I agree with that. Going from playing a K-League Challenge match to playing an international match against a tough Chile squad would be quite a challenge.

Invest in one of those Chinese TV boxes (1 time payment). I use the UBOX4 from UnblockTech. It has a bunch of live Korean (Japanese, Chinese, Indian, etc) channels that doesn’t buffer too often (depending on your internet connection).

It's one of the reasons why I don't understand people who want to rush things with PSH, LKI, KJM, JWY etc.
If even HIB struggles, I can't imagine how players without any pro team experience would do. It's not good for their developments.

Ill let Bento slide with experimenting with JHS once, especially post Asian Games when considering that HEJ turned out to be the best Wild Card call-up

Now that Bento saw JHS in all his glory, I hope that serves as a wakeup call and drops him from here on out.

I'll gladly take the draw in a heartbeat, we may have given away majority of the match to Chile, but it was very important that we didn't concede, and thank god Chile were missing their shooting boots, otherwise we would've conceded in the dying seconds all thanks to that genius Jang Hyun-soo for his brilliant backpass to the Chilean player.

Overall play-wise, I think we played well, almost like we did vs Germany, albeit some holes in the back mainly caused by Jang Hyun-soo and Kim Jin-hyeon, as well as pass misses due to the Chilean pressure, but overall our defense held on for 90 minutes. As I've mentioned earlier, the tempo of our counter-attacks have gotten faster than what we'd normally see, slow and disconnecting, however we need to be working on getting up our tempo much higher, and we need to be practicing a lot on situations where we're under immense amount of pressure.from the opposition, like limiting short passes in tight space, as Lee Young-pyo stated towards the end of the match, we need to constantly be playing against stronger teams, only that way we'll get better.

Despite the problems however, I think we're beginning to find our rhythm and style of play, and players seem to be clicking towards Bento's tactics except for the usual suspects. Attacking and defending is getting better, passing and buildup plays are improving, as well as our on and off the ball movements. Still too early, but things are looking positive thus far.
