Now that this important tournament is going to be played here in the US, and televised on FSW, do you think it can help push soccer in the US? Maybe even help MLS?

At the very least it can hurt, right? Sure, it's only Mexican teams now, but there's talk of MLS teams participating in the future... Also, I'm sure games like these can help promote the Burn, the Earthquakes and the Galaxy, right? Personally, I think it was a smart move by MLS/SM to buy the tournament and bring it to the next level. That being said, I hope Morelia makes it...

SUM (practically the same as MLS) will make money off of it. Maybe lots of money. That's a good thing.

Because SUM is marketing/producing it, MLS teams may one day SOON get in the tournament. A great thing.

Nothing but props for this move from me.

And in fact, I may even go to a game or two at the HDC if I can get away from the significant other in the off season!!
