I found this on another thread and thought I'd post about it here. It seems as though Euro 2004' official website lists some really in depth statistics. Check it out fwiw. http://www.euro2004.com/tournament/statistics/index.html It looks as though they're tracking them for individual players too. Here's a press release about it. http://www.euro2004.com/Tournament/Statistics/News/Kind=4096/newsId=190237.html This is just under the passing category alone: OVERW - Overview PC % - Passes completion % SPC % - Short pass completion % LPC % - Long passes completion % CC % - Cross completion % TC % - Throw-in completion % PS - Passes SPS - Short passes LPS - Long passes CR - Crosses TI - Throw-ins PC - Passes completed SPC - Short passes completed LPC - Long passes completed CC - Crosses completed TC - Throw-ins completed When you click on caomparing the teams to each other you get some really neat breakdowns. The passing stuff really sticks out to me. For example, in a recent game France completed 1,408 passes. I don't particularly care for the 'short pass' vs. 'long pass' because it's not easily definable but despite it's inherent inacuracy that'd be a neat way to look at what kind of style a team plays.
