    Interesting statistics...

The Crew are the all-time leaders in goals scored, assists, 3rd in shots, 5th in shots-on-goal, 1st in fouls suffered, 2nd in corner kicks, and 9th in ejections.

Quite the clean, attacking side. Something to be proud of.

Of course, the Metros and NER outstrip everybody else in cautions and (by a large margin for the Metros) ejections. Despite having played 2 fewer seasons than us, Chicago has more ejections.

    Interesting take, Eggy.

I was looking at all-time statistics to see who was the dirtiest side in MLS, and was very surprised to see us at the top of the scoring charts, considering we've never managed to secure a Supporters Shield. Thought I'd share and see what others thought.

Mental breakdowns in defense late in games usually results in this.

To be fair though they have had Dema Kovalenko and CJ Brown many more years than we have...

How did we rank in terms of goals surrendered? Remember that if we score 4 goals and let in 5, a 5-4 loss is still a loss.

I have no idea. Foos didn't post a link to the stats.

 We got one guy: Hristo, who told the league to send him here. And then the guy had one good season for us and promptly went to the training table, never to be seen again. Oh, did I mention he cost us Gutierrez (who many Fire fans would rather we had kept instead of Hristo) and Kubik. Please excuse my being utterly underwhelmed by your whine.

Anyway, you can hardly place us in the same class as the Mutts or the Galaxy as league welfare bums. Not that that's a bad thing, either, as far as I'm concerned. League favoritism has really worked well for them, huh? Until last year, combined they had fewer trophies than us despite both being in the league two years longer. Thank Vishnu the Fire haven't been on the receiving end of much league favoritism. Hristo did enough damage to us as it is.

What about all of the benefits of being a work release program facility, hmmmm?

You'll have to ask the Dallas Cowboys about that although DCU certainly look to heading that way under Hudson.

I can tell you that having a small suburban college as your stadium is bad enough, thanks. Then again, it beats the hell out of a Texas high school field from what I can see from the MLS Wrap show highlights from Dragon Stadium.

The Rotmasters will soon be overtaking the Fire in ejections, red cards, etc.

    Must be the coach.
