i dont buy this rumor...but i will say if i were tommy stone i WOULD be mulling over trading up to get withers...she would be a good fit for the beat...but i dont see that happening, youd have to give up too much to get to the 3rd pick and i dont see kirk giving up the 4th...withers is what he traded clemens to get i believe.

Kester, Boxx, one of the Tietjen twins was traded to NY for NY's #1 pick. Sherril Kester was then sent back to San Diego for Smolak. Rumor floating around somewhere that Kester may go to the Courage since her hubby is there. Or something like that. Ummm that's about it me thinks. Oh and the Spirit are scraping the bottom of the barrel for a coach.
So Kester is like the Ho of the league? The girl gets around. I'm still contemplating season tickets. It was difficult driving down to Atlanta for all the games... I'm not sure I have it in me to do it for a third time. It's requiring much thought on my part. Is Dec 1st the "cut to 18" date? When's the draft? And when do you think the teams will start making cuts?

It has been announced now that I, that's right, am the new Head Coach for the Spirit. First things first, Mac - she's outta there. Foudy - benched. The Finnish (?) chick has an 'injury'. Mamma Joy - she's gonna have her 12th child. The rest of the team, we don't really have to worry about them. They suck. How am I doing so far? Ps. I really didn't buy the rumor either, but since there hasn't been a lot of talk about the Beat and what everyone thinks they'll do, I just wanted to strike up some convo's about it.
So Coach Piper, whatcha gonna do about that Kim Flipup?? That move is getting old. Do you think you could have her do a double somersault with a half twist? That might get the crowds going! LOL about Joy and "ride the pine" Foudy! Ya know you could just give Joy a few more years and she can produce an entire team for you! Change the team name to the San Diego Fawcetts and have Price Pfister be your sponsor. Then when the team runs hot and cold... you have a great excuse!
I think with Flipup, we'll have to have her add more difficulty... so she'll throw the defenses off more. I mean, just the plain flip? If she doesn't add an extra flip with a half turn and land the dismount, she's cut. If all else fails, Kyle's got this really awesome move that always throws me off: Picks up the ball, runs till he's about 10 feet from the goal sets it down, turns around and runs back, whiffing the first few times and then steps on the ball. There ain't NO WAY defenses could stop that. lol KGB, LMFAO! I really needed that belly laugh about Mamma Joy. Thanks.
