Says something at the bottom about a midfield player named Joey DiGiamarino.
"DiGiamarino left MLS for Germany a few years ago but has returned after severely injuring an ankle. He's healthy again, and if he re-signs with MLS, his team likely would be determined through a weighted lottery."
Think he would be an option for Bradley?

And did you catch this part about Stoichkov and Carroll?
"Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoitchkov, a player-assistant coach acquired from Chicago, got lost on his way to the stadium, and rookie midfielder Brian Carroll took an embarrassing fall as he approached a corner kick."
    Oahahahahahahaha!

I don't remember Digi play. However, if we would be able to get him through a lottery, that would really be a benefit. We need a winger, and maybe he's an option.

I'm not surprised Stoitchkov got lost, He's coming from Chicago, where the streets were laid out like a grid. DC streets were modelled on Paris, with angles on the grid, plus circles -- which were great for defense in the 18th Century, but a pain in the butt for a 21st. Century commuter.

I'm not surprised about Carrol either. He's playing for the Dizzies now. :)

DiGiamarino played for the Rapids back in '97.

last i head, we was playing for Leverkusen amateurs.

had he stayed, he could've been a fixture on any MLS squad.

now, though, i don't expect much.
