Wow, after all the rumor in the past, it seems like this time it's for reals. As of now, i think it's impossible for SAF to accept any offer because no one in the current team can really replace Giggs' left winger role. I think the deal can only happen only if a replacement is found in summer. But of course, no one here wants Ryan Giggs to leave!
I'm not really in the "sell Giggs" camp, but ponder the fact that we have had a pretty good season this year, despite his lack of form. If we actually were to start getting production from that position, we could probably enjoy a resurgence. I'd love for that player to be Ryan Giggs, but sooner or later, something has to give. The only player right now I could see helping in that position now would be Duff, but we'd surely have to overpay for him, just like Rio. I'm not saying we wasted money on Rio, it's just that we did spend quite a bit for only 1 defender....
