it's the most important CL game so far, we have to win it, or we're in deep poop...

lol. yea. Here's the 20-whatever man squad. Recoba's not in it. I hope he isn't injured.

    Goalkeepers: Toldo , Fontana

    Defenders: J.Zanetti , Vivas , Cordoba , Materazzi , Gamarra , Adani , Coco , Pasquale

    Midfielders: Conceiçao , Okan , Di Biagio , Almeyda , Dalmat , Emre , Morfeo , Beati

    Strikers: Vieri , Crespo

    Maybe the line-up will be
Toldo(who we can count on to score another goal)
    Cordoba
    Cannavaro
    Materazzi
    J. Zaneti
    Di Biagio
    Almeyda
    Coco
    Morfeo
    Crespo
    Vieri

I prefer Emre over Morfeo but I think Cuper prefers Morfeo over Emre. Maybe last night's game will change Cuper's opinon withEmre doin well nd putting in the corner kick for the winning goal. We'll see.

    toldo

    matrix
    adani
    zanetti
    coco

I think only three Italian teams will make it through to the next round of the CL. On that same note, only one from Milan will make it through. Unless some radical change in form occurs, Inter willbe left to concentrate on the Scudetto, b/c Lyn looks impressive, especially Juninho.

we always have fitness trouble with our strikers, I hope chino and bobo stay on the bench and rest, we need them next week against bologna, I don't really care about CL.

Here's the injury updates I got from the Inter mailing list....

Recoba - will miss the match against Lyon and will be back in 10 days.
Cannavaro - will also miss the CL match and will return next Sunday.
Vieri - slightly injured but will be ok for Tuesday.
Kallon - will be back in 2 weeks.
    C. Zanetti - will finally return on November 3rd for the match against Como.

I haven't heard anything on Ventola.

It's a driving rainstorm in France. Wonder which team this favors. Lyon, I would guess.

Almeyda replace Di Biagio in a tactical switch as Inter's midfield is being overrun.

I'm listening on Lyon radio on their website and saw the highlite of the goal on ESPN/TSN who are showing Real-AEK.
The pitch looks in great condition actually.

Carriere just scored, its 2-1, apparently another beautiful collective goal, waiting for highlite on ESPN.

Sounds bad for Inter. I have to say - I know this is the Inter board and my opinion won't be popular - but I won't feel too bad if Inter loses. Their disdain for the national team by holding out four players in two key games for Italy sickens me.

I just put down 50 bucks on Inter to win the UEFA Cup. I hope you can finish ahead of Rosenborg though ;)

You think they'll actually WIN the thing? I think you're being a little too optimisitic! Lazio has a better chance....

Yes, those incompetent persons at ESPN were supposed to show us this game today, but they decided to show us the supper exiting real-aek

CV is the devil, thats what the french announcer is saying anyways, hehe

The danish referee is constantly handing out yellow cards.
