Was just going to say that. Eze's uninvolved and Merino is a turnover machine.

You can make a good argument that Merino should only ever play for Arsenal at CF.

Not sure what to make of any of the first half. Watching on my computer with the sound off, it looks like a preseason friendly.

 

Raya's double save was top class. In replay it would have been a goal most times. Good game for the neutrals. We obviously need a 3rd goal.
Is Jesus making a case to start over Gyokeres? How does he get so many looks but Viktor can't?

 

Agreed. He's just not mobile enough for midfield.

Merino, Zubi, and Eze are all trying to score leaving spaces where we normally have support - and there is nobody there except Inter for quick counters.

It's not pretty, but it's a fun game to watch. Pretty attacking and wide open.

I swear, I'm more convinced than ever, Viktor Gyökeres and Ermedin Demirović are the same dude. Until I see both of them in the same place at the same time, I'm not going to think otherwise.
