Ajax have had to change keepers.

Guess all the Inter fans around here are following elsewhere. I'm a little revved up after yesterday's successes and hoping for more of the same. We will see.

52' - Recoba in for Emre. Sounds like Inter doesn't want to play for a tie! Lyon's current thumping of Rosenborg doesn't bode well for Inter.

65' - Almeyda in for Di Biagio. Despite the scoreline, the game seems to be open. I'll be surprised if it finishes goalless.

It's not looking good for the two Italian sides today. If Roma and Inter really want to advance to the next stage these are the games they need to be winning.

I agree. This is a letdown from yesterday. Cuper's last roll of the dice -

    69' Conceicao in for Okan

1-0 is the final score. Not as impressive as Milan and Juve, but at least they showed some atypical-for-Inter determination to pull out the result.

Inter is definitely no top team. I thought they would be a bit stronger. Undeserved loss for Ajax.

Thems da' breaks my friend. I will add that saying a team isn't strong AFTER they beat your team is a bit backwards. Ajax will qualify for next round still anyway, I hope.

They beat Ajax... but it's about the way they beat Ajax. Is that so hard to understand? Seen the match?

Who cares, being able to play poorly and still pull out a win is an desirable quality. Inter probably won't even play in the same way next time they meet.

Ofcourse that's a desireable quality but if there would have been a more experienced side in Ajax' shoes last wednesday Inter would have lost without a chance. And that's pretty awkward for a team that is supposedly a contender to win the CL.

Inter a contender to win it all? Who said that? I think they have a shot to win the Scudetto, but they're a longshot for the CL, in my opinion. Of course, I'm not an Inter fan.
