Assuming White is still out, give me Timber at RB and Lewis-Skelly at LB.

Arteta will probably go Timber at LB, Partey at RB and Jorginho at 6.

Thanks for starting the thread @mebeSajid

Was just listening to a pod that was talking about Inter playing well and being just 1 point off of Napoli who's in 1st place, but the two of them play this weekend so, maybe just maybe they might rotate a bit with that in mind.

I figured we must be underdogs but actually it seems that the odds are pretty even.

And it's a reunion with our old pal Mhki.

p.s. I couldn't remember Rice being injured, but in just reading Mikel's pre-match remarks, it seems he picked up a knock "with his foot" during Newcastle but played through it. Anyone know more specifics on the kind of injury?

From the outside obviously and not knowing the true extent of several of our possible injuries or risk involved…

I might think about punting on this match entirely if I were Arteta. Take zero risk, wear a loss here, and try to be in better shape for Chelsea and beyond.

In the past, 100% of the time that I’ve heard this fairly reasonable opinion expressed, Mikel Arteta has never subscribed to it. Just sayin.

Without a good result tomorrow I may fall into a catatonic depression. I need something to cheer me up.

Arsenal to beat Milan and then beat Chelsea to raise spirits everywhere.

Ode to come on for 15 minutes, create two goals, score one, go off to a polite round of applause.

Today dawned from a profound darkness. So I hope that our beloved Arsenal can shine a little light of positivity for anyone for whom today is difficult. And that doesn't even necessarily even have to include a win in San Siro.

Also, FWIW, I just noticed on my DVR that our game is also being broadcast live on the Spanish channel TUDN. But CBSSN seems to be showing Bayern-Benfica.

Don't like Trossard in the AM role. Hasn't been playing well there either. Think he needs a game on the bench to reset the chip on his shoulder.

CBS shows a 4-3-3 with Kai in MF. I assumed that was wrong. And the Arsenal.com XI list seems to support the theory that Kai will continue up top. :)

14' we've been distinctly on the back foot so far. Just earned our first corner though...

Gabriel just earned a silly yellow. It wasn't really is fault, Lautaro was almost head butting him. The HR then did that spineless thing where he books both players who are in the fray. Ugh...

24' Gabriel just stopped Bissek in our box. But it seemed almost more lucky than assured or dominant. Hmm.

27' White with a fantastic line-splitting thruball to Saka who shoots but easy save. Still we're starting to get some chances which is good. AND nice to see those two back together again, hooking up. ;)

28' Merino gets punched in the head on the 6-box, but alas keeper's don't get called for fouls like that. Announcers think it's because Sommer punched the ball away first, before punching Merino. Probably true.
