I am really not looking forward to this, could get ugly, and another bit hit to confidence is the last thing our players need. And apart from it being a weak squad, we'll be once again pushing players to go 90 (or close to it) and risking injury to the likes of Isak, Joe, maybe Mac?
Slot has been reluctant to play Isak, Ekitike, and Wirtz together partially because none of them are 100% fit. Now he’s forced into it. But what happens when none of the 3 can go a full 90? He has no option on the bench. Then there is another game on Saturday. Salah might have to play because you risk getting the new signings injured.
