Everywhere. Here are recent articles from America https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ates-gambling-addiction-concerns/70228634007/ https://www.visualcapitalist.com/sp/the-explosive-growth-of-sports-betting/ https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/10/business/online-sports-gambling-addiction/index.html As far as Italy, gambling has always been strongly intertwined in sports especially soccer. The reason players can’t bet on games is because players can directly influence matches. Even ones they aren’t playing in. It can be something as dumb as betting on yourself to get a yellow card in extra time, or worse conceding an amount of goals etc.
It's a thing lots of players do, but that Juve kid had big debts. Zaniolo and Tonali might get away with it. Also Italy has a mafia problem still and they would love to get involved in fixing games. I have a friend who used to drive trucks, more than 20 years ago. Drove once to Sicily, was robbed of the truck. It was first and last time he would go to Sicily.
Where I live, sports radio is now half analysis and half what odds pay better and what the Line is. Unlistenable for a NON-gambler such as myself. The drive in and from work is now back to playing music. I love how at the end they'll caution to "Please Play Responsibly". Sure, but only after you get them hooked.
One of thr very best players in the league 2 years from now, he will be on a top English team. The prince!
********in Giorgip Scalvini scored with his boot off, something not often seen, but after a long VAR check it was ruled Offside by Mario Pasalic.
Inter are just too good. Lautaro an animal, defense strong. Sommer better than Onana. The turk playing well ( lol ) Ugh
Seeing Inter play today, I can’t see how Juventus with good or bad refs will catch them. I don’t think anyone will be able to beat them in the Serie A. Lautaro Martinez is an incredible striker.
Yeah, Mexico was only good when they hosted the WC tournament twice and when they made the Quarter-finals both times. That was only because they played most of their games at the Azteca Stadium which is 7,218 feet above sea level. They also dominate Concacaf but their only opponent is the USA so they virtually have no competition.
