It really irks me that every time Juventus are in the running for up-and-coming talent, Inter also track the player. CASE IN POINT: After witnessing the enormous success that Brazilian superstar-in-the making Kaka has enjoyed in his first season with rivals AC Milan, the Bianconeri management team has expressed a desire to sign a South American fantasista/trequartista of their own. As such, they have been closely monitoring the progress of Chilean international midfielder David Pizarro over at Udinese. Pizarro's agent plans on meeting with Luciano Moggi next Thursday. However, Inter are rumoured to be also making noises even though they already have world-class playmaking geniuses like Alvaro Recoba and Emre in their ranks. I understand that good players will always have multiple would-be suitors and that it is important to have strength in-depth when challenging for honors at home and in Europe, but this is a bit pathetic, farcical. Thoughts anyone?

Dont give me this crap about Inter tracking Pizzarro they were on his tail in January and were deciding between him and Stankovic (a player you guys were also tracking but never managed to obtain)

Pizzarro himself said we would love to move to Inter and would have still like to play with them if he was signed in the summer (after the signing of Stankovic) This is an old rumour that has been going on for a while.

As for the Kaka deal ask your Moggi why he didnt sign him perhaps it was his name after all how can you have someone on your honourable team whose name is kaka?

Ah the irony when you have the best goalkeeper in the world on your team maybe moggi wants to get rid of him too because of his name

    Get your facts straight bud

The point I am trying to make is that this policy of constantly tracking everything that moves really compromises continuity and rhythm within your squad. It seeems that in the minds of your directors, too much is never enough. Let's just hope with all your new signings you manage to land that ever-elusive 14th scudetto. I do envy the amount of clout your team has in the transfer market, but Inter lacks a true identity. It remains a mystery why a club with such undoubted class in its ranks has not made a bigger impact at home and abroad in recent times.

Juve have been tracking Pizzaro since last season. They even made a move for him but it fell through. Pizzaro was supposed to move to Lazio last season but rejected the deal.

Milan and Juve have a gentlemen's agreement when it comes to players. Juve won't go after targets of Milan and Milan won't go after targets of Juve. This has been going on for a while now.

Yes Moggi wants to get rid of him alright, must be why they just had him sign a contract extension.

Good advice, perhaps you shoudl start with yourself.

Sorry I was unaware that Pizzarro had been associated with Juve in the summer but as for the Kaka deal I am 100% sure that Juve were also after him do you mean to tell me that if Milan wanted to sign a player that Juve wanted in their squad they wouldnt try and go after him?

Dont be ridiculous they do it all the time all the Italian teams respect each other but it doesnt mean that if a team wants a player another team from the same league wont out bid them for him

Anyways with regards to the Buffon contract extention I am fully aware of that. I was referring to the stupid comment Moggi (who is a sore loser that he coulndt sign Kaka) made earlier when asked why he didnt sign Kaka after. His exact words were "I coulndt sign a player whose name is Kaka we are not running a circus". I brang up the Buffon reference because his name in Italian means "clown". Irony at it's greatest from the mastermind that is Moggi. Even you must see the joke in that.

Besides I dont think Kaka will be that great next year he is just having a stunning first season because he is new has fit in well with Milan and no team has been able to adequetly able to analyze his play. Until the Depo game.

Anyways I tottally respect Moggi and your team they are true champions and Inter can never attain your stature if they do not follow your lead. We may have the players to outclass you (2 derby wins this season) but with zero team chemistry we end up flopping around in 5th position. All Im hoping for for this summer is maybe one signing in defence and an extended pre season training camp with Zacc so he can adequetly assess the team with little or no injuries. Since he has been at Inter he has only had one full week to work with a squad that had been plaugued with injuries this year.

Im sure if this happens both our teams will be in top contention on all fronts next year

Inter may have defeated us twice this season (even if we knocked them out of the Coppa, that still sucks!). But let's see, how many Scudettos and CL victories can they claim compared to us for all their efforts?

If Inter's answer to Juve's challenge is to be a second-rate shadow of Juve, I say more power to them. Keep it coming. It's obviously working in our favor.

Victory you guys didnt deserve that win at all we played a great first half and if the team had held it together we would have easily killed off the match too bad we do not have the defence of last year.

Oh well I took great pleasure in seeing Milan collapse at Depor you guys sure set the record books straight with that shocker!

Anyways mark my words I will be extremly surprised if Kaka can replicate his form next season what with Rivaldo his new agent

With Roma nipping at your heels more performances like that against Empoli and Modenda and Chievo will surely see Milan lose the Scudetto

Inter Milan spend recklessly and have a high percentage of flops. this year alone: -
Van Der Meyde ( i love him but hmm horrible season)
    Kily Gonzalez
Jeremie Brechet (why buy him Giovanni Pasquale (homegrown) much better)
    Luciano
    Khalilou Fadiga
    _________________________________________________________________
This while some exceptional talent has slipped through their hands, Andrea Pirlo most recent example and they look to be chasing out Christian Vieri.
Inter is a club going nowhere and blowing money getting there. With that said Inter helps other clubs by taking good players, driving down their value and allowing other clubs to purchase cut price talent.
Hernan Crespo US54Million to Chelsea for much less after how many seasons?1.

Granted Juve have in recent times passed on players who have turned out to be genuine studs case in point Thierry Henry (in my mind not suited for Serie A).

However, i expect this offseason Juve to change some players and be back much stronger next year, Inter will change more players than Juve but the potency WILL NOT be anywhere as good.

As much as it pains me to say this, but I can forsee Adriano being next years best striker, and with that said Inter can get the Championship if they want. A new defender wouldn't hurt and not to mention a creative player besides that idiot Recoba for ex. Aimar, Veron (best choice I think) Vandervaart, Diego etc etc.

Just get a guy who can give these wicked strikers good balls and we got ourselves an excellent team.

If Inter produce flops Juve are right up there with them

Appiah (supposedly the new and more attack minded Davids) the worst player in your starting eleven why he continues to start baffles me

Leggrotaglie (one of the best defenders in Serie A last year) barely findes a starting spot and when he does continues to disappoint

As for the Crespo deal Cruz has done much better than Crespo did all year this year and he has been crap for the better part of 2 monthes. While Crespo has produced nothing in an overcrowded Chelsea squad.

As for players Juve sales lets see you mentioned Henry but did you mention he is the best in the English League and and one of the top in the world. Only reason he failed is because stupid Ancellotti fielded him out of position.

Then lets see the biggest shocker was defintely Zidane. Who sells Zidane no matter what kind of money he gets you. Maybe you guys could have won the Champs Leauge last year with him in your ranks you know he wouldnt be slide tackling anyone to get himself suspended from the final (referring to Nedved)

More names include the likes of Flippo Inzaghi and refusing to renew Baggio and letting him go for free?

Despite all this I still respect your team, they maybe having a slight off season with regards to the defence but otherwise they are still stellar and DP is forever the best support striker in the world.

Inter on the other hand are still crazy with spending money and no doubt the names you mentioned have all flopped. But as long as Inter continue to attract attention and make money I dont think Morratti gives a **********. Too bad for us real soccer fans. There is speculation that we might be getting Veron (might be bad idea becuase he is continuously injured) maybe even Giggs and Ballack. Knowing us we will probably buy all of them and continue to do crap.

Here is to sucking in the best possible fashion!

Some good points by previous guy but with respect to Zidane.
Zinedine Zidane made it clear in no uncertain terms he wanted to play in Spain (his wife's homeland) and at the time US$66 million was a great price for a player destined to leave for free.
    With respect to Davids
Edgar Davids if not going to be kept should have been sold for at least a cool US$25 million now he'll go for free. That 25 million could have funded a swoop for Michael Ballack much the way Zidane's fee funded purchases of Pavel Nedved and the world's best goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

man, as an inter fan(but also a juve fan as long as they arent playing each other) i must say inter's constant dealings have given nothing in regards to record this season. kily gonzalez and van der meyde have not impressed, and van der meyde is BEGGING to get out of inter. there have been so many injuries and our back line has been rag tag all season. toldo has been out of form this season, but he will be back on top soon i think. we have had too many signings that dont do much, the only club to beat us to that title of too many signing without result is chelski. what happened to fadiga??? all the sudden he has some medical problem, which i still cant find offical word on and hes gone all year+ kallon(who isnt good anyways) tests positive for roids, and hes out. luciano, lamouchi havent done much at all. karagounis and stankovic have been blessings. however stankovic and adriano, 2 of our best perfomers have been cuptied all season and could not help us when we needed them most. oh well. we need to offload some of these players and get in a few great midfielers, maybe 1 nice foward and 2-3 defenders who are SOLID.

Sorry, but Chelsea have gone from being a team that pnly got the 4th CL spot on the last day of last season, to being a team that is i nthe last 4 of the CL this season and is currently in 2nd place in the EPL. In regards to individual players.

    - Damien Duff (£17mn) - a few injuries for a big buy, but their best signing of all, their best wide player, and their 2nd best attacking playter after Frank Lampard this season. Leads the EPL in assists, despite being injured for a good few games, iirc.

Glen Johnson, (£6mn, iirc), Scott Parker (£10mn) & Joe Cole (???mn) - all signings for the future, with Parker givign perhaps the best impression, all could be worldclass in 3 or so years

Claude Makalele (£14mn) - a good player for the team, and the best in his position at the club right now, but seems to just be a stop-gap for the longterm investment (Parker). A good buy; not worth that much moeny, but does that matter to Chelsea?

Juan Veron (£14mn) - Injured frequently, and unimpressive when he is fit. poor signing.

Adrian Mutu (£???mn) - A good signing, and a very lively & talented young player. Unfortunately, he has been unlucky this season (hitting the post, keeper pulling out amazing saves, etc) but most Chelsea fans have been impressed by the guy.

Wayne Bridge (£7mn + Graeme Le Saux) - A great signing, he was the first of the 'newbies' to cement their first team spot, which he did almost immediately. Only in his early 20s, he is being given serious consideration to unseat Ashley Cole for the starting leftback spot on the English team. His winner v. Arsenal in the CL paid back his transfer fee.

Hernan Crespo (£???mn - it was quite a bit) - A disappointing player, but still quite productive and a bonus to the team. I never thought he'd do too well, so I guess I just got proved right.

Geremi (£7mn)- Bust, they wanted a right winger & got stuck with a defensive mid.

    In conclusion:

    Successes - Duff, Bridge
Busts - Geremi, Makalele (but not hugely), Veron
    In Between - Crespo, Mutu
'For the Future' investments: Joe Cole, Parker & Johnson

Also, don't forget that with Abramovic, Chelsea can afford to overpay for players.

If you honestly insist on praising Scott Parker then you're mad! I think the man is utter garbage especiallly when he's compared to the other more potent talent in the club. Which makes me wonder, why start him over Joe Cole? Utter madness...

You're not quite nurspec or Wildman yet, but keep working on it...

When Scott Parker was a Charlton, he was a marvel, one of the best central midfielders in the league. Charlton were riding high in 4th position in/around January, and their 22 year old (I think it's 22) captain was the main reason. After being transferred to Chelsea in £10mn move which also included a host of other stipulations, Charlton have dropped down to fighting for any spot in Europe at all. Parker is a longterm investment for Chelsea, and is not starting over Makalele. Like Cole on the left, when Parker is playing on the right he is far less effective (since he is not a winger) - he is played there a good little bit though, since Chelsea lack a true right-winger right now. From next season he should get more starting time in the centre of midfield and will show his class from there.

You continue to make an ass of yourself asking why Scott Parker would start over Joe Cole... Scott Parker is a defensive midfielder (and can add to the attack); Joe Cole is an attacking midfielder. Why not ask "why play Rui Costa over Cafu?"

Sorry I didn't know that but you dont have to be an a-hole about it. But how would I fuking know anyways when I see him running up and down the right doing jack-all at Chelsea. Sorry its just that when SKY Sports interview or profile worthless clubs like Charlton, I change the channel.

Well then do yourself a giant favour and don't judge a player without sufficient evidence or without having seen him play much. I don't judge players on the smaller Italian teams for a reason (or recently signed from one of them to a big club).
