Well, that might explain the "no longer on the roster" rumor a few threads down.

I hope it's not because of the knee injury. That would be a real shame.

She seemed fine at the October STH get-together. Maybe there was a relapse. Which is why...

screw it...this isn't a day for me to speculate on something like this when 7 souls were lost in a tragedy this morning. May God have mercy on them and their families. :(

    *tears*

I would think it's more with Karvellson getting on with her life, and soccer ceasing to be the main driving force.

While she'll be missed, the Charge have so many talented players and a shortage of roster spots.

The Scasna matter, her signing, is probably awaiting the inking of the CBA.

No contracts until that gets worked out.

    New Contracts?

I think that you are probably right about "awaiting the inking of the CBA." I don't believe there have been any "official" WUSA announcements yet about the signing of any new Discovery Players for next season.

I agree, draft choices can't sign anything either.

there's probably a revised salary cap too.

Poet Song posted about Solo possibly getting darfted so Ducar could get released.

What's this about ex-nat keepers messing up the new CBA...

next thing we'll see Scurry getting the ax??

    Only joking folks!!

Her dad show up quite frequently at Charge matches.

It's like this is all sports, when players get old, those with big contracts get the ouster.

And given the financial woes of WUSA, losing 3 or 4 highly paid non-performers makes business sense.

I've always maintained the future of WUSA is in creating new stars, those players to replace ther FOUNDERS in the hearts of PTH.

Good luck to Rakel as she goes back to the real world. :)
