    Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any links to any sites about Uruguay's WC winning squads of 1930 and 1950.

Any information anyone has would useful.

    Thanks

Spanish sites would be good please, I'm by no means fluent (or particularly competent) but I'll try my best.

Erm... yeah, that's THE most complete site about historic football data there is. You should browse the entire thing. I actually download the entire site to my PC every few months.

You should also check the World Cup and Copa America sections. They're really good.

I had no idea. That's interesting. Just before the professionalism, right?

Thanks, the RSSSF is a fantastic resource. I was really looking for some narrative about a few players to put alongside that stuff.

    I appreciate it though.

There used to be a really nice website called "1930 World Cup Museum" but I don't know what happened to it. I belive it had articles about the players. I think I downloaded it to my other computer, which is broken. :(

If you read Spanish, there are lots of decent bios on players on this site:
