It is always good to have more number of teams but question is how many of them can meet AFC Criteria ???????

As far as I know there are hardly 7-8 teams which can meet.

Our Midfield simply cannot hold the ball when opponents are pressing at them for the ball. So Bob plays with the direct passing style approach as a result of which we have long passes and lob passes directly to our forwards which result into less possesion and no pressure build up on opponents defence.

I want India play possesion football with short passes which can create pressure on defence.

I don't know about the title sponsor, but the broadcast rights are with Zee Sports aka Ten Action. That was decided long ago, wasn't it?

Has any one come across this? Nipun Chauhan , who plays for Bombay Scottish school ( my parents studied there :) ) , has been picked for a 15 day trial at Manchester United starting from the 14th of November.

I was informed of this by the poster he so scrumptiouz , who is Dutch. So I am guessing that this news has caused some consternations in that part of the world, but over here, staying in Bombay/Mumbai, I've heard nothing.

It looks like there are still two premierships in India: I-League and Indian Super League. Is one deemed quite a bit stronger and more stable? Is one much better followed? Or is it more a matter of where people live?

ISL is now considered the top league in the country with better players, higher salaries and better coverage.
Many legacy clubs like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal and newer clubs like Bengaluru FC have made the switch to the ISL as 'franchises'.
But it will be changing this year as there will be the promotion of clubs from I-League to ISL without the need for a franchisee fee.

ISL started off as a tournament for 3 months trying to replicate the success and glamour of the IPL in cricket so it started off with franchises, one from each city, but it is slowly transitioning into a longer league which you see everywhere else.

    Nacional Tijuana repped this.
