Really bummed I missed this. I bought a ticket & everything, but got way too mashed at Oktoberfest Saturday night and ended up sleeping until around 2 in the afternoon Sunday...

I was thinking the same about her man. I eyed him up, thinking if for some reason shit got out of hand, I'd have no problem handling him. she reminded me of that retarded looking thing that follows that douchebag dog the bounty hunter around. all boobs, and no brains.

definitely a great time yesterday. I came home, showered and got the glitter off of me. next time we throw glitter, can it not me on to ourselves? haha just a thought.

in any event, on to the next one!

Haha, the length of that game, you coulda slept an hour more and still made it. It was ridiculous.

There's always next season! I really, really, really hope we can start coming with like 100 people next year. If other SOBs caught on to how much fun (and how cheap) it is, I think it would improve attendance.

All-in-all I had a surprisingly good time considering the little amount of alcohol I consumed prior to kickoff. Wish I would have been there sooner.

Highlights also included those women yelling at us to shut up at half time.

It was a good time, and we always do have a good time. In the future a pre-game at Kildares is needed. I stopped by Iron Hill to grab a beer and some wings, and the players were so glad we were there. They wish we could go to Boston, but know a weeknight game would be tough.

I went to see the team. Normally Kildare's is more our type of place. If they beat Boston on Thursday. We may need to get a viewing party together for the Championship on Sunday!!

If they win Thursday, I'm thinking the Dark Horse might be a good spot.

Jim I'd honestly love to. I just don't have the time (with work and school it's impossible) or the money. :(

    Hey guys -
Just want to thank you all for a good time. We usually don't sit in the SS for the Union so were happy to join you for Indy. Took us a minute to catch on the to chants, thanks for your patience. My daughter kept looking for the pool :) At half time, we got to meet LeToux and my daughter was ecstatic. Great day for everyone. I might have to check out Stoney's for the championship - see posts about it often.

Thanks again for the new experience.

Ok, we now know that the Independence will face FC Gold Pride for the WPS Championship this Sunday at 2:30 pm. It was brought up at the First-Round match in West Chester that if the Independence make it to the championship, we should have a viewing party. The Dark Horse was the first place that was mentioned. Anyone interested in watching the match at the Dark Horse?

Way to go ladies, bring us back a Cup from SanFran

Definitely want to do that. Dark Horse is good.

Also, we need for next year:
    "Hand of Doop" sign
A trip to Boston to take the piss out of the Riptides. This is a soccer match, not a fucking drum circle!
    Way more SOB participation.

*Brody haha. Sadly, not short for Broderick. Or I could go by B-Rick and be a rapper with a brick for a logo. It would be epic.

But on the real. No other SG of the two I've seen really do anything at all. They're small and just overcompensate with too many instruments. We're the Sons of Ben, and damnit, I believe in our ability to be doopbags to the highest order (while maintaining a PG veil).

The league needs rivalries. The league needs a drunk Uncle Bob.
