With the new I-League coming around i was wondering if anybody has any idea what cities are in the running for teams? I honestly dont watch indoor soccer but played it since i was little and still play it today and if a team came to Providence, Rhode Island. I Know id immediatly start going.

We have the Dunkin Donuts Center which has a seating capacity that can go over 10,000. I mean its used for minor league hockey and PC basketball so schedule-ing might be an issue but i bet if there was a good amount of advertising a team would do really well there.

Anybody know what cities are being looked at for potential fanchises?

So far the teams that have entered are Rochester, Syracuse and Norfolk. There was talk of Utica having a team but it seems that talk has died down.

Providence sounds like it would be a decent market, but I haven't heard anything about it getting a team.

i havnt heard any news of it but i definently believe that if we could get somebody with money to make a franchise here and if they marketed it correctly it would be a huge success. But as i said before PC basketball and the Providence Bruins right now use the Dunk so im not sure how the schedule would go. It would be nice to have a team in a pro league though.

If anybody hears anything more please post back
