Incheon UTD v Gamba Osaka ICN 4 : 0 Gamba FT I'm not so sure what to say about this match. It was either Gamba really sucks or Incheon will create some noise this season.
I'm not trolling or anything but these are the results of K v J leagues the past 2 years 2002 Suwon 2-0 Kashima Antlers 2003 Seongnam 2 : 0 Jubilo Seongnam 0 : 0 Kashima Daejeon 2 : 1 Kashima 2004 Jeonbuk 1-2 Jubilo Seongnam 3-0 Yokohama M. Busan 2-1 Tokyo Verdy Jeonnam 3-3 Tokyo Verdy Incheon 4-0 Gamba Osaka
For a team that has been newly founded and with no league experience on their own, the result itself is pretty outstanding, especially against a well established foreign club. I think Incheon will definately be a force to threaten top positions when the league starts. Top teams like Suwon, Anyang and Seongnam should watch out for this team throughout the season. Not only that the club's marketing operation is really exceptional, something I have not seen before from other domestic teams! I'm sure they will be able to draw a large crowd in their matches (a.k.a Daejeon in 2003) if they keep doing the job like this. essvee, I don't think the results b/w K and J teams mean anything. As far as I'm aware, most of the matches were just club friendlies played during off-season. Woorijim I don't think the ACL (ACWC ACC) are just matches that doesnt mean anything. All those games are from legit Asian Club cup tourneys except for the Gamba match. People can argue that they were played in the off-season but K and J leagues have about a month left until their season starts. And regardless, a 4 goal difference is huge.
