How can you even begin to have conversations with such people when there is no shared reality? You can't. I mean, calling January 6 a hoax? We all watched it live and it's been thoroughly documented with the J6 committee hearings. They're insisting we discard factual reality and pretend it never happened.

Sources in the Nassau County Police Department allegedly told journalist James Lalino that the rally site 'perimeter was breached and a blue barrel was removed.'

In addition, during the K9 sweep they apparently 'found an explosive device in one of the vehicles.'

The sources allegedly said the driver ended up running into the woods.

'No one saw if he had anything on him, they just saw him take off running. A lot of cars are now parking, they’re lining up on Hempstead Turnpike, just parking on the grass. Even over at Eisenhower Park, they’re just parking over there,' the source went on to tell Lalino according to a post on X.

Basically, Tabloid reporting in which the tabloid knows it's liable to be sued. And it's a tweet about an article about another tweet. So, in case anyone is wondering why that poster is so worthy of ignoring.

 

This photo tells so many stories. I won’t be surprised if some awful stuff from her kids comes out years later. And of course, she’s making child labor easier in that photo.

Then you see the one of Walz and those kids when he signed a lunch meal bill for children.

 

And you would think if police actually did find explosives at a rally, they would evacuate the rally and not allow crowds to grow in number. It simply makes no sense.

Oh. My. God. I just googled "journalist James Lalino." Long story short... there should have been another use of the word "alleged" and quotation marks around the word "journalist."

He works for Project Veritas.

He's not a journalist. He just plays one in MAGA-land.

That's why it is important to verify sources and information before spreading it! But MAGA already irresponsibly ran with it and spread it around. Unfortunately, the update never spreads as quickly or as far as the original post.

You keep bringing up Charlottesville, but I don't think you understand the implications of it - either he is saying there are very fine people in the neo-Nazis or he is totally confused as to what the topic is and is saying there are very fine people among confederate supporters.

Let me quote:

In other words, he responds to a question about Charlottesville and says there were very fine people on both sides. Now, you can argue he was conflating Charlottesville with the taking down of the Robert E Lee statues, but if so it just goes to show how confused and inarticulate he is.

 

VP also taped a 4th that will air today at 10AM EST (Spanish radio) and is sitting for a 5th live one today (NABJ), but I imagine for similar reasons, they'll discount both as well.
