One of the most profoundly depressing headlines I’ve ever read https://t.co/hR7ZSRwu2e— Tom Reagan’s Hat (@RufusTSuperfly) September 13, 2024
Yeah. They currently have a contract to bus supplies and equipment to the new international space station being built, you can't just cancel it on a whim.
The National Review had a story on the Miami football player who got dragged out of his car by enraged cops a week ago. I was a little surprised to see that their take wasn't about unconstitutional abuse of police powers, but rather "that n-word had it coming" (paraphrased - they did not use the n-word). I may have been confusing the National Review with a more classic libertarian outlet?
This sounds a lot like one of Stephen Douglas’ arguments that Abe Lincoln refuted when they debated in my hometown. That was in 1858.
What it sounds like, is Robert E Lee's argument that slavery was a duty that fatigued the "white race," not a privelege that profited them...
Just so you know, I'm someone Trump would consider a member of the Deep State. While I don't know Vindman, a couple of the people you saw testifying at his impeachment are colleagues and friends of mine. The fact is, regardless of what the policy is, trying to shakedown a foreign leader like Trump did is illegal. That's why Trump wants to create Schedule F and only have bureaucrats who are loyal to him and not the constitution. Too many people kept reminding him that things he wanted to do were either illegal or unethical. And yes, there were things that were just stupid too. But at the end of the day, Trump just wants to crime away as President -- and you should be thankful we have civil servants and bureaucrats like Vindman. I've served under both Democrat and Republican Presidents -- none of them tried the shit Trump did, and for good reason -- they were rational actors. None of them pardoned war criminals and claimed they were convicted by the "Deep State." And none of the certainly didn't try to overthrow an election.
What’s happening to Nicky Jam is what MAGA morons thought was going to happen to Taylor Swift after she endorsed Kamala Harris…😂😂— Silver Tuke (@silvertuke) September 16, 2024
This is fvcking laughable. Guess what douchebags. If it's a Sunday, there's a 50/50 chance Trump is either sitting on his gold-plated shitter at Mar-A-Lardo, or playing golf at one of his courses.

I'm sitting next to a Lincoln impersonator at the airport bar. He's watching MSNBC reporting on yesterday's assassination attempt. This is easily the most surreal thing I've ever witnessed. pic.twitter.com/8g0yj8FYJr— Abby Olcese (@abbyolcese) September 16, 2024
We need a plan for when MAGA tries to close down urban polling places with bomb threats on Election Day.— Rachel Bitecofer 🗽🦆🌴🥥🇺🇸 (@RachelBitecofer) September 16, 2024
"You call that an assassination attempt? I took one behind the ear from that scoundrel Booth at point blank range for goodness sake!"
Here’s an idea. Ignore them. Seriously, in the 50+ years bomb threats have been a thing, has any place that has ever been threatened actually blown up?
I bet some British person is going to come bouncing in here to point out that the IRA actually blew stuff up in the 70s or something.
It’s the police closing the polling center and beating the ******** out of people that don’t leave the area that we should be worried about….not the bombs.

Conflict of interest in motion: Trump's on X hawking his family's crypto push less than two months before a presidential election that would ultimately give him regulatory sway over the crypto market if he wins. He once called crypto a "scam" and a "disaster waiting to happen."— Tim O'Brien (@TimOBrien) September 17, 2024
