Trump being too inside Loomer is the problem now for the GOP.

 

I tend mostly to focus on the message, not the envelope, so that was what was making me queasyish...

 

He may have found a something mate, but I’m very, very confident he did NOT find a soulmate.

It seems we are assuming he actually has a soul. I've seen no evidence he does.

I’m going to be serious with you for a minute about “TDS.”

On the one hand, you’re here on a politics forum, on which several subjects are discussed in detail, including an upcoming presidential election. To be fair, we talk about one candidate A LOT, a candidate who has recently been found guilty of dozens of felonies; stated he plans to be a dictator; plans to deport 10s of millions of people extrajudicially; encouraged a violent coup; bankrupted almost every business he has run. Etc.

That’s just a very selective list. And I realize you disagree that much/all of that is true, but the evidence, facts, and reality are not on your side.

On the other hand, you have people whose lives are largely built around glorifying that same man. They wear clothing, festoon their trucks and boats, and decorate their homes with images that have Trump photoshopped in various homoerotic scenarios, say F*ck Your Feelings, various versions of F*ck Joe Biden, etc., etc. etc.

I literally don’t know anyone on the other (non-MAGA) side who does anything close to these things. I travel far and wide and regularly see Trump worshipping paraphernalia, including Trump flags in my town just today that have been there for at least 5 years. I hadn’t seen any Biden or Harris signs until the last few weeks.

There are plenty of things I’m unsure about in this world, but recognizing how moronic and completely backwards the TDS thing is is not one of them.

And again, to be clear, the TDS you believe in requires you to come into a POLITICS forum to accuse people discussing A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE of being deranged.

 

Biden wasn't exactly giving the NYT the time of day either and it was hilariously annoying them.

 

Yet when someone goes to a Trump rally and isn't yelling whatever they are welcomed and on the other side attacked for wearing a hat. Other than Jesse, has anyone been attacked for wearing a hat?

The reason you're not seeing signs might be because the candidate is one of MSM hype. By the way I didn't accuse anyone of anything. I just posted a tweet much like everyone here who is posting tweets about Loomer of what?

 

I don’t know who Jesse is. The fact that you have to qualify who does/doesn’t get attacked at rallies is telling. I have seen and read about several people who have been attacked/manhandled at Trump rallies. I honestly can’t think of a time that has happened at a Biden or Harris rally but feel free to post proof.

Along the same lines, what is your position on the current calls for violence against LEGAL Haitian immigrants in Ohio by your preferred candidates? Even after the person who posted the rumor of these same Haitians eating people’s pets has stated it was not true? And on top of that, the parents of a child who was sadly killed in an auto accident clearly and forcefully telling people to stop blaming the Haitian population for it?

As far as “MSM hype” around my preferred candidate, why would I need the MSM to tell me how popular a candidate is? I know plenty of people and I know who they plan to vote for and the vast majority happen to agree with me. I also know a few people who will likely vote for a Trump. That doesn’t mean it won’t end up being a close race.

Try thinking a little bit about these things and living in reality, not the angry, violent, shitty world that gives you your talking points that contradict what’s actually happening.
