He needs to use emojis more often to indicate when he is joking, as we have told him before.

He also needs to extend the grace to others he implicitly demands from the rest of us, IMHO.

BUT...I am saying that I think the above conflict was a bit unfair, because in this case I think the implied sarcasm was easy to catch. YMMV.

You may have a point here but, as mentioned before, his manufactured outrages and fake anti-anti racism BS, mostly aimed at POCs and gays, are getting stale as well.

I agree with the first part but not the second, given sarcasm often doesn't translate well in the written word (hence the need for emojis).

As are his repeated use of homophobic tropes as a way of lashing out because of his Christian-persecution complex.

Fair enough, although I still think the context clues were plenty.

That was Greece vs. Nigeria. The Greek manager vowed that they wouldn't lose to Nigeria, and to do so would be like getting pissed on by a dog. Nigeria beat them, 2-0 in Foxboro, and after both goals, the Nigerian players ran to the corner flag and lifted a leg like they were pissing on the post! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

All of this stuff about Travis Kelcie wanting to beat the crap out of Leon Musk is getting overblown. What guy wouldn't want to do that to some asswipe offering to get his GF pregnant? Dave's point was that if Musk ever came near her and was hitting on her, he'd have to deal with a big-ass NFL guy who would not be pleased, to say the least.

This was just a joke that fell flat. You can get on him for other things, but this is a gluten-free nothing sammidge.

I usually agree with you, but if it’s THE “Leslie-Lou from X” that you’re disagreeing with, I’ll be honest….. it’s a tough call.

I mean, if this is "Thomas Massie is right in a stopped-clock way", then sure.

I'm off Twitter these days, so I know nothing about Leslie-Lou or where she's coming from. I was just making a "Don't forget how much Massie sucks" post, rather than responding to the specifics of the post. Which probably isn't fair.

My bad, it was a failed attempt at a joke poking fun at the OP using some totally random person’s (as far as I know) tweeted opinions.

I totally agree with you and I think Massie is a cringey creep.

The idea is that it would be funny to see Elon get his ass kicked, but good on ya for finding a way to get that last nail in the cross LOL.

TBH my joke was just that it’s funny to imagine edgelord Musk putting his, um, fists where his mouth is. It’s about the gap between his self image and reality.

One of the less interesting things about message boards is when people react to the post rather than the poster. Since my stalkers are all here LOL if any other poster had written that a specific race is lazy, nobody would have defended him.

I think racism is bad. Some people only think it’s bad if it’s against a certain group. I’m not changing my beliefs on that.

If anything, I chuckled at Dave’s joke. No way Musk says that in public if for instance Kelce was around. The other thing I don’t think Musk gets, is how BIG Kelce is. Dude is 6’5 and plays a position that requires physicality. I’ve met a lot of pro athletes. A lot of people don’t get just how massive some of these guys are. I was friends with college level swimmers, I was the smallest of them and I was still a big guy. You really want to feel tiny? Meet Rick Mahoney or any NBA center that’s over 7 feet.

I met Ndamukong Suh during a charity event for work. He had an inch on me, but the man looked like he could bench press me with a pinky. Singular. He was, and I cannot state this enough, massive. Nice guy (and being in our early 20s, it was fun talking with him), but you’d have to be a complete idiot (like Musk) to even think you’d be able to have a chance.

Would it be funny to see Musk run his mouth to a guy who’s built like a brick shithouse? Absolutely. And if Musk wasn’t Musk (billionaire), he’d probably be getting his ass kicked for saying that sort of thing to women at bars.

EDIT: if you want a laugh, look up Geno Smith and Aaron Donald, to hear a hint of panic in Geno Smith when Donald came charging at him like a freight train. Geno Smith is able to take the hits, which is saying something.
